Eckros Tourism College (ETC) is a training  Institution which was registered in 2002, based in Njombe region, under the Managing director MR .ERICK PEKEPEKE

About Us

Eckros Tourism College is the biggest private college in Tanzania. It is situated at Njombe region. It was established on 1st December 2012 under the managing director Mr. Erick .M. Pekepeke.

The college was established to address acute shortage of professionals and experts in tourism and hospitality  sector in Tanzania as a result of the expansion of primary education.

The college provide a high quality education by anticipating the changing educational needs of students, employers and the public at large.

The vision of ETC is to be the College of academic excellence within and beyond Tanzania in the provision of quality education.

To contribute to national development through training youths and adults on courses that will engage them in self employment and enable them compete in today’s labor market.

 

Admission

Eckros Tourism College (ETC) started admitting the first intake of students in January 2013. The college falls under tertiary higher education and training as stipulated in education and training policy of 1995.
Also the college administer Distance Learning Programmes, Evening classes, weekend classes, study tours and researchs programmes

Admission Process

New admission into the College is effected twice a year in January-July and July-December.

Entry Requirements

For a certificate course programme the applicant will have a Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) with two credits.
For a Diploma Course Programme the applicant must possess an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE) with one principal and above, Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) with three credits or equivalent qualifications.

ETC Admission Regulations

1. Registration for the first year students shall be done after the applicant bring original certificates plus copies of certificate transcripts,the original certificate will be returned after verification.
2. Students shall be discontinued from the names if it is found that he/she previously disqualified from any other college/Institute.
3. Students shall be allowed to use only names appearing on the certificates which qualified them for Admission. That is, no change of names by the students shall be allowed during the course of study.
4. No student shall be allowed to change courses later than the second week from the date on the commencement of the course.
5. Deadline for Registration for the first year students shall be two weeks from the date of the commencement of the course.
6. Semester start from January- July and July-December each year.

• Basic Hotel Management (1 Year, Fee 500,000/= Tsh)
• Certificate in Tourism & Tour guide Management ( 1 Year, 1,000,000/=Tsh)
• Certificate in Tourism & Tour guiding ( 6 months, 700,000/=Tsh)

• Full Secretarial Stage I,Stage II and Stage III (3 Months for each stage, Fee 750,000/=Tsh for each Stage)
• Customer Relation (CRM-3 Months, Fee 400,000/=Tsh)

• Ualimu wa Chekechea (English medium -1 Year, Fee 700,000/= Payable in two Installments.)
• Pre-form One (Every September,Fee 45,000/= For 3 Months)
• HIV & AIDS Counseling(1-Year, Fee 850,000/=Tsh)

FACULTY OF I.C.T

• Computer Maintenance & repair. (3 Months, Fee 450,000/=Tsh)
• Microsoft Computer Application (3 Months, Fee 100,000/=Tsh)
• Graphics Design (3 Months Fee 450,000/=Tsh)
• Certificate  in Information Technology (1 Year, Fee 1,200,000/=Tsh per Year)
• Certificate in Video production and editing      (6 Months,600,000/=Tsh)

• Payments can be made in full or installments as advised by the Eckros Toureism College Administration
• No money will be reimbursed upon breaking of contract registration and enrollment procedures.
